THEORETICAL DETERMINATION OF THE MAGNETIC SUSCEPTIBILITY OF LIGHT ATOMS.
Abstract:
A refined method of calculation that includes both the multiconfiguration approximation and the method of partial separation of variables in the approximation of the two-electron-state model is applied to the theoretical determination of magnetic susceptibility. The authors present and discuss a number of numerical results for atoms ions of helium type, beginning with H- and ending with C4, and of beryllium type, beginning with Li- and ending with C2.
