Abstract:

Three estimates of Kuder-Richardson Formula 20 KR-20 -Kuder-Richardson Formula 21 KR-21, R-20, and R-20 -were studied to determine which provided the best estimates of KR-20 reliability. For each of 40 U. S. Army MOS job proficiency tests, reliability was computed through use of KR-20, KR-21, R-20, and R-20. The regressions of KR-20 on KR-21, R-20, and R-20 were compared. It was found that although all three reliability estimates correlated highly with KR-20, the R-20 formula produced coefficients that were most numerically similar to KR-20 reliability. Author
