LONG RANGE PROPAGATION STUDIES.
Abstract:
This report describes activity associated with step-frequency oblique soundings in Norway. Pertinent operational parameters are given. Results from ray-path calculations and their relation to measured data are presented. The outcome from analysing different types of backscatter-echoes is offered. One of the chapters is devoted to a treatment of various characteristics of auroral radio-reflections. Another chapter deals with the communicational aspect of the experiment.
