Abstract:

Included in this program are studies in marine geology, the sediments, their character, distribution and origin, the structure of the ocean basins and the tectonic features found within them and the physiography of the ocean floor in marine geophysics, including seismology reflection as well as refraction - gravity, magnetism, and geothermal measurements and in oceanography, both physical and chemical.
