Abstract:

A method of obtaining furan resins on the basis of furfural and other furan derivatives is given. The method is distinguished by the fact that the furfural is condensed with furfuramide and the initial products of the reaction are condensed by means of heat action with constant removal of the volatile products from the sphere of the reaction. The process is used for enlarging the assortment of heat-resistant plastics.
