Abstract:

A method is given for converting analog values into a digital code. The method is distinguished by the fact that for the purpose of diminishing the time of the conversion the slope of the saw-tooth voltage is varied a whole number of times, which is also a multiple of two after it has been compared with the voltage to be converted.
