Abstract:

The David Taylor Model Basin performs applied research, testing, and field trials in hydrodynamics, aerodynamics, structural mechanics, mathematics, acoustics, and vibrations. In support of these efforts the Model Basin and its laboratories have assembled a wide variety of highly specialized facilities, many of which are unique. This report describes these facilities.
