Abstract:
A popularized account is given of results of measurements of space environmental conditions by instruments aboard Vostok-5 and Vostok-6. The investigations concerned the concentration of charged particles and the soft component of ionizing radiation in the upper atmosphere the terrestrial magnetic field the density of the upper atmosphere and the effects of micrometeorites and cosmic dust.
