Abstract:

The macrocylic germanium complexes, hpGeF2, hpGeCl2, hpGeBr2, hpGeOH2, hpGeOx, hpGeOC4H9-n2, hpGeOC6H52, PcGeF2, PcGeBr2, and PcGeI2 are reported together with additional data on hpH2, PcGeCl2 and PcGeOx. A comparison is made of the low frequency infrared spectra of the oxy, hydroxy and halo complexes. Evidence is given which indicates that hpGeOx is similar in structure to PcGeOx.
