Abstract:

A portable 18-inch, free-fall drop tester is described. Simple shock pulses are produced with two shock pads. Shocks range in amplitude from 100 g to 1400 g. Pulse durations range from 0.7 ms at the highest shock level to 2.1 ms at the lowest. The shape of the pulse is approximately half-sine. Author
