Abstract:

This report describes methods for design and construction of lumped element filters. Small size and large controlled bandwidth was achieved for filters constructed experimentally. These were high-pass, low-pass, band-pass and band-stop filters with cut-off or center frequencies between 160 Mc and 2.5 Gc. Lumped elements and construction practices are discussed, and several of the experimental filters are examined in detail. Factors affecting their quality and performance are presented. Author
