USE OF OPTICAL MASERS IN DISPLAYS AND PRINTERS.
Abstract:
Efforts were continued on a study of laser technology for computer input-output devices. The possibility of controlling the output of an optical maser by means of an electrically controllable Fresnel lens was investigated. The zones of a Fresnel lens were calculated and a laboratory model of such a device was built. This device was tested optically and electrically. The fringent field effect occurring in a slit between two adjacent electrodes was investigated experimentally. The results of these measurements are shown. Author
