Abstract:

High perormance characteristics of the F-111 airplane has made it necessary to search for integral fuel tank sealants which will withstand more severe environmental conditions. To minimize testing, candiate sealants are being screened before more complex and costly evaluation tests are conducted. Results of screening tests on five sealants are reported. Author
