Abstract:

Efforts were continued on the establishment of a PEM on 1.0 lw solid-state X-band microwave TR-ATR switch as used in a balanced duplexer. Manufacturing techniques and all drawings were reviewed and are now complete for preproduction. The assembly and test procedures were completed and are being compiled for inclusion in a manual for preproduction manufacturing operations. Equipment requirements and test bench block diagrams are available for each step in the electrical tests and measurement procedures. Specifications for the crystal bias diodes, PIN and varactor diodes were determined and diodes were ordered. The life test on unit LM 28 continued during this period. Author
