Abstract:

Theoretical and experimental studies on high-temperature plasmas are described. The high-temperature plasma results are reported in detail first and then the published results of the two year period, covered in detail in technical or memoranda reports, are summarized. The reader who wishes to obtain technical detail in depth greater than that given here should seek out the numerous Technical and Internal Memorandum Reports issued on this contract. Most of the reports refer to electron-beam microwave-tube type projects completed in the early part of the contract and are no longer available for distribution. Author
