This book discusses the construction and operating principle of a turboprop engine the various structural diagrams for TVD turbo-prop engines are described in understandable form, as are the operating conditions for the individual units of such an engine. The material pertaining to the physical processes taking place within the engine is presented in systematic order. Particular attention has been devoted to the operational characteristics and problems of TVD control. The book is intended for flight and engineertechnical personnel of the Soviet Air Forces and the Civil Air Fleet.
