Abstract:

The use of strain gages in the measurement of strains in the vicinity of 10 to the minus 6th power is discussed. Observations of an anomalous anelastic behavior apparently associa ted with small temperature changes, which accom panies the unload portion of a load-unload micro strain test, are discussed. Author
