Abstract:

The investigation being carried out covers two different areas the design of VLF antennas for shipboard use and the study of coherent light sources in the visible range. The first investigation aims at studying the properties of ferrite-loaded antennas and at designing a radiating structure having suitable efficiency and dimensions the second investigation aims at studying the generation of coherent light beams at wavelengths shorter than 6300 Angstroms.
