Abstract:
The crystal structure of boron triiodide has been determined by the powder method. The structure is hexagonal with a 7.00 or -.01, c 7.46 or -.02 angstroms and 2 molecules per cell. The boron-iodine bond distance has been found to be 2.10 or -.04 angstroms. Author
