Abstract:

Continued research is reported on birefringent waveguide assembly CG- GP. Major effort has been expended on over-all design considerations with considerable development on the microwave circuitry, ferrite section and the magnets. Investigations of various ferrites for use in this device have been carried out. In addition certain tests of polarizer circuits have been conducted. In all stages of design special attention is being given to component reliability and, for this purpose, some auxiliary studies have been undertaken. Author
