Title:
Designing Wavelength-Specific Visible Light Photocurable Resins
Report Date:
2021-03-08
Abstract:
Designing Wavelength-Specific Visible Light Photocurable Resins discusses the major goals and specific targets. The major goals are: Optimize blue- and red-light curable epoxy and acrylate resins using a Type 2 photoacid generator (PAG) and Type 2 photoredox catalyst (PRC) system (50 percent completion, red-light curable acrylate accomplished), Identify opaquing agents that are compatible with visible light activated cationic and radical chemistries (100 percent completion), and Interrogate the wavelength-specificity of the newly developed visible light photopolymer resins along with pattern resolution and mechanical performance of the cured materials - (75 percent completion, patter resolution and mechanical performance of visible light photopolymer resins accomplished, wavelength-specificity partially complete).
