Title:
The Effects of High Temperature Storage on Microhardness of Dental Resin-Based Composites
Report Date:
2022-06-10
Abstract:
The Army utilizes metal storage containers (Tricons) for shipping and storage of dental resin-based composite materials during deployments. Often these containers are deployed to desert locations where temperatures reach well beyond manufacturers recommended storage temperatures. The purpose of this study is to determine if these high temperature storage conditions decrease the microhardness and depth of cure of dental resin-based composites stored in these containers.
