Title:
Time of Exposure: A Major Factor in the Attachment of Bacteria
Report Date:
2020-06-08
Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the ability of bacteria to attach to titanium at different durations of exposure. Furthermore, this study evaluated the difference in titanium binding capability between organisms, and also compared the ability of bacteria to bind to zirconia vs titanium. This study focused on bacteria which are associated with oral health, rather than known disease pathogens which were the focus of previous studies.
