Abstract:

Since 1969, SAHS have been the primary means by which DOD informs the Congress of the status of major weapon system acquisitions. The SAR contains information on each systems cost, schedule, and performance and compares it with earlier estimates established at the demonstration/validation, full-scale development, and production decision points.
