Abstract:

Through assessment of the Armys capabilities to detect and locate enemy targets within the Field Army, the Ad Hoc Group concludes that major efforts should be made to improve these capabilities. Examples include: give special emphasis on night-time capability (e.g. infrared) and modernize older equipment like sound ranging and radar.
