Abstract:
The object of this investigation was to ascertain the efficacy of the "Spark Coil Transformer" for determining the condition of vacuum tubes. With the aid of this device, a rapid shelf check of tube stock can be made, thus preventing an accumulation of defective materials, and permitting of the replacement of defective materials by the manufacturer wherever a tube life guarantee prevails.
