Acquisition data lay the foundation for decision making, program management, insight, and oversight of the U.S. Department of Defenses (DoDs) acquisition system. Recent statutory changes to organizational structures, as well as roles, responsibilities, and authorities (RRAs)have introduced new challenges and opportunities that will significantly affect the collection, storage, and use of acquisition information.
