Abstract:

Statements of statistical modeling objectives are often sufficiently formal as to provide a basis for construction of precise database queries. Specific examples may be found in section 3 below-, a form of query commonly encountered in the analysis of longitudinal data is obtain all ordered p-tuples of repeated measurements subsequent to or prior to the occurrence of a certain event. For certain kinds of modeling, there may be a further proviso to the effect that the measurements selected should have been obtained at certain regular intervals.
