Abstract:
This report presents the results of the Integrated Model Development Environment IMDE exploratory development research project. The objective of the research was to demonstrate how object-oriented modeling and graphical user interface technologies could improve Air Force and DoD large-scale modeling efforts. This report documents the motivations for the research, describes the generic modeling tool that was developed to demonstrate the IMDE technologies, and discusses future laboratory research plans.
