Abstract:
Tests are described which measured the artificially induced transition location on a slightly blunted 7-deg cone. Various distributed roughness and spherical type boundary layer trips were used. The tests were conducted at Mach 9 over a free stream Reynolds number range from 500,000ft. to 20,000,000ft. Test results are not included in the report.
