Abstract:
Since World War II, the electronic warfare officer has been planning his missions by hand. The threat today is too large and complex for hand planning. The operational EA6B Mission Planning Program is designed to automate much of the clerical work involved in planning electronic warfare missions. It is an interactive computer program utilizing the WANG 2200T installed on all U.S. aircraft carriers. The program consists of eight subprograms linked together through an interactive main program. This design concept allows for easy access to each program. In addition, future programs may be added without difficulty. Since each program is a separate entity, one may be changed or deleted without affecting the others. Author
