Abstract:
This report describes a computer cataloging technique that is capable of detecting strong signals. It was developed for use in analyzing the unprocessed but digitized signal data obtained in the joint USUK VERULAMANDREW sea trials. Using the technique of energy averaging, the time of the peak arrival of one way signals and bottom reflections are detected and recorded.
