Abstract:
This report described the results of developing a mm Wave Technology baseline for satellite communication systems. This baseline is applicable to a deployment frame from 10 to 15 years and covers the satellite communications bands from 20- to 100-GHz. To project the technology to such a long time span, the state-of-the-art of the mm Wave subsystems, for both the ground and space segments of satellite communication systems, were surveyed.
