Abstract:

A computer program is presented which simulates a Probability Ratio Sequential Test PRST plan from MIL-STD 781C. Upon selection of an applicable test plan and a lower test MTBF theta 1, the simulation determines, for a chosen range of true MTBFs, the probability of reaching maximum total test time before making a decision to either accept or reject equipment and the probability of reaching the last failure in the test plan.
