Abstract:

The report is a short version of a second report in a series of five describing the results from an extensive series of model tests on underground ammunition storage. The main objectives of the experiments discussed in this paper were to determine the pressure-time history from an explosive charge detonated in chambers varying loading density, venting, type of explosive TNT, PETN, ANFO, RDX, ALUMIT, DYNAMITE and COMP.B and to compare results with theoretical work and other experiments.
