Abstract:
This report updates highlights of the collaborative research efforts resulting from the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command CCDC Army Research Laboratorys ARLs Open Campus initiative. The ARL South research summarized in this report is integral to the CCDC ARL overarching research strategy each project is a component of one or more of ARLs foundational research portfolios. While ARLs research primarily falls in the basic research arena with projected longer-term transitions, critical shorter-term outcomes will be recognized and exploited along the way.
