Title:
Robotic Surgery Readiness (RSR): A Prospective Randomized Skills Decay Recognition and Prevention Study
Corporate Author:
University of Washington Seattle United States
Report Date:
2018-08-01
Abstract:
AIM 1 We have completed recruitment and analysis for AIM 1 with 43 completed subjects. Results have been presented to the DoD JPC-1 Review Team at the annual Ft. Detrick meeting May 10, 2018. The results demonstrated an optimal warm-up curriculum for priming robotic surgery skills. AIM 2 We have settled on the most optimal method for extracting kinematic and video data from the da Vinci robots for Aim 2 using the Intuitive dVLogger system which captures these data directly from the API of the robot, thus standardizing the method for capture. We have recruited XXXXX subjects at the Madigan and UWVA sites and have captured XXXX cases. We have received a NCE to allow for completion of this grant. Data Analysis Complete for Aim 1 and pending for Aim 2.
