Abstract:
The purpose of this in vitro study was to investigate the effect of rapid light curing on depth-of-cure of composite resin and temperature changes in the pulp using curing lights with high irradiance. Materials and Methods Composite resin was placed in the proximal box of a molar and cured using high-irradiance curing lights Cybird, Dentazon S.P.E.C. 3, Coltene Valo, Ultradent Flashmax P3,CMS at their maximum irradiance settings. The composite specimens were tested for hardness at 0.5-mm increments occlusal-gingivally.
