Abstract:
This report describes current water quality conditions in the Santa Margarita Estuary monitored over a 21-month period between September 2014 and June 2016. The data collection was designed to assess current water quality conditions as they relate to eutrophication as well as compare to historical monitoring datasets collected over the past 10 years. The data were collected by the Navys Environmental Sciences Branch of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific SSC Pacific for Environmental Security, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton MCBCP. The report describes the background, technical approach, methods, and results of the data collected with a summary and analysis of water quality and the dynamics and main physiochemical processes that control it.
