Abstract:
This report is a compilation of highlights of research accomplishments completed under Cooperative Agreement No.FA8650-10-2-2934, Fuels and Combustion Technologies for Aerospace Propulsion, with the Air Force Research Laboratory, Aerospace Systems Directorate, Turbine Engine Division. This report covers work performed during the period December 11, 2009 to September 30, 2016. Research efforts covered a wide range of topics toward development of advanced fuels and combustion systems. These efforts included Analysis, Analytical Measurement, and Diagnostics Technologies for Fuels, Additives, and Combustion Processes AdvancedAlternate Fuels Development, Evaluation, Demonstration, and Management Advanced, Affordable FuelCombustion Additive Technologies Support of Alternative Fuel Development Materials Compatibility Modeling and Simulation Technology Integration and Demonstration for Thermal Management and Fuel System Operability, Supportability, and Maintainability.
