Abstract:
The report describes a computing system that improves the process of modifying an airplane design to satisfy flutter requirements through local mass andor stiffness change, while adding the minimum additional weight penalty. It introduces analytical simplifications that reduce computing costs and an automated flutter solution program and search algorithm that diminish flow time.
