The technology for unmanned vehicles has developed to a point where various means are being used to successfully launch and recover remotely piloted vehicles RPVs. The need is now developing for miltiple RPVs to be airborne simultaneously and, as a result, higher rates of launches and recoveries LR are now in demand. The various types of LR will impose different requirements on the DCDRS. This trade study will address itself to the launch and recovery modes and the many facets associated with LR to determine the impact on DCDRS.
