Abstract:

This volume contains 22 of the 73 papers presented at the Third Conference on High Power Infrared Laser Window Materials held on 12, 13, 14 Novemeber 1973 at Hyannis, Massachusetts. The papers in this volume deal with the results of experimental investigations of the absorption spectra of a variety of materials essentially transparent in the infrared, of the effect of impurities on the spectra of such materials, of various techniques used for measuring residual absorption and of measurements of photoelastic constants.
