Abstract:
The shelf life and container problems plagued the chemical light system from its inception. The CPPOactivator system is dissolved in solvents which attack most packaging materials under conditions of elevated temperature. Therefore, the container plays a significant role in the shelf life of this system and negates the systems usefulness if defective. A double interlocking neutral glass ampoule was designed and fabricated at NAD Crane to alleviate the container problem which concurrently solved the shelf life problem. Author
