Abstract:
The ADEDSAdvanced Electronic Display System task of the SST Technology Follow-On Program includes an assessment of the state-of-the-art technology to support production versions of such systems. The industry survey subtask was performed to provide this assessment and was focused on the flight deck display equipment elements of ADEDS. The survey is a compilation of estimates provided by equipment suppliers together with comments and qualifications provided by the ADEDS program staff. The survey includes design parameters, cost estimates, and other data pertinent to the planning of production implementation of CRT displays, particularly electronic attitude director indicators EADI, multifunction displays MFD, and navigation control display units NCDU.
