Title:
Observations on the Applicability of a Rotating Mirror Camera, Especially for Investigations of Moving Self-Luminous Objects (Betrachtungen ueber die Verwendbarkeit Einer Drehspiegelkamera, Insbesondere bei Untersuchungen Bewegter Selbstleuchtender Objekte),
Corporate Author:
ROYAL AIRCRAFT ESTABLISHMENT FARNBOROUGH (UNITED KINGDOM)
Report Date:
1971-12-01
Abstract:
The report describes a rotating mirror camera with additional equipment, and gives values for the resolution in space and in time. Calculations have been carried out to determine the blurring that arises because of the rotation of the mirror during the exposure of the picture, and also to examine the possible errors arising in the determination of the exposure time. The report also describes various photographic techniques used in the investigation into a rotation arc, and quotes some experimental results on the motion of the arc. Author
