Abstract:
This is one of a series of reports designed for use in a guidebook for life-cycle cost analysis in the US Army Materiel Command USAMC. The report is predicated on the fact that the practical application of the detailed work breakdown structure is largely controlled by the procurement and production agencies. As a consequence, the application of a work breakdown structure to cost analysis will of necessity reflect decisions made by those agencies.
