Abstract:

A theoretical analysis was performed to determine the properties and basic parameters needed to prepare high dielectric constant 90, low loss tan delta 0.0003 and low temperature coefficient of dielectric constant .00004C ceramic materials for microwave applications. On the basis of this analysis, glass-ceramic materials having a variety of dielectric properties were prepared and screened. Major emphasis was placed on evaluating the effects of various heat treatments and compositions on the dielectric behavior of BaTiO3-SrTiO3 glass-ceramics at microwave frequencies 1 to 12GHz. Author
