Abstract:

The April 1970 meeting of the IEG6 NATO Subgroup 1 on ship motion and vibration in Hamburg, Germany, was attended by 23 delegates from ten NATO countries including France. The subgroup decided at its meeting that a certain degree of standardization is possible in the fields of ship motion, shock and vibration and that these possibilities should be considered by IEG6 at its next meeting.
