Abstract:
Two circumstances were the motive for the document, namely 1 It is nearly impossible to provide an exact picture of the great number of tests dealing critically with the analysis of variance, and 2 Too little attention seems to have been paid to the method of measuring scopes for the mean values of samples to be short method of scopes. Both methods are compared by means of numerical examples for simple cases, the results of the method of scopes being additionally illustrated by diagrams.
